These are my favourite curry and spicy food sites at the moment. I keep going back to these sites time and time again for inspiration, information or entertainment (sometimes even all three). The list is in no particular order of preference. |
Mamta's Kitchen - home cooking from a British Asian family. A great place to learn what real north Indian cooking is all about and how different it is to the familiar restaurant fare. |
The Big Boy's Curry Book - Ashley Kitson's compendium of the curry recipes he collected when travelling around India and which he's then given the "Big Boys" treatment. |
Bawarchi - whenever I search for something curry-related on the Web I always seem to end up back at Bawarchi.com. There are a host of recipes from various cooks and a glossary of food terms with Hindi to English translations.

Curry, Spice & All Things Nice - food writers and historians Peter and Colleen Grove present extracts from their book which include a history of the Indian restaurant, the origins of curry (is it really English?) and the chicken tikka masala story. |
Henk's Hot Kitchen - Indonesian food and recipes. If you don't know your Nasi Goreng from your Rendang then go and visit Henk's nicely designed site. He also has a run-down of ingredients you'll need for Indonesian cooking and information about Indonesia.

Judy Howle's Flavors of the South - excellent recipes from "Ms Chile" and a nicely laid out site. Cooking from the South and Southwest USA, Mexico and elsewhere. |
