We taste supermarket Chicken Tikka Masala
We couldn't wait to taste Asda'a award winning curry but were a bit surprised when we did. So surprised, in fact, that we decided to conduct our own tasting session of 6 supermarket versions of Chicken Tikka Masala to find out which one we thought was the best.

British Curry Awards 2006
We were familiar with a couple of the winners - Tamarind in Mayfair and Juboraj in Cardiff have both appeared on these pages in the past. But it was nice to see a Best Newcomer Restaurant category whose coveted prize went to Itihass in Birmingham, the brainchild of 28 year old entrepreneur Raj Rana.
